In November of 2015, The Mountain Goats toured Europe. The majority of the shows were in the British Isles: one Ireland show, one Scotland show, and five England shows. There were also three continental European shows: Brussels, Amsterdam, and Barcelona. The touring lineup was the same as the previous two tours in support of Beat the Champ: John Darnielle on lead vocals, guitar, and piano; Peter Hughes on bass guitar and backing vocals; Jon Wurster on drums; and Matt Douglas on various instruments including second guitar, piano, and saxophone—with the exception of the Barcelona show, which was performed by Darnielle solo.
The Weather Station was the opening act for all shows except for Barcelona[1].
