The Mountain Goats toured in promotion of their new album Goths from May through July of 2017.
During some shows of the second leg of the tour (starting with the New York shows), The Mountain Goats opened for alt-country singer Jason Isbell & The 400 Unit.
The opening act for the first leg of the tour was Mothers in Nashville and Birmingham, Holy Sons from Birmingham through Seattle, and The Hot at Nights in Atlanta. The opening act for Des Moines, Madison, and Bloomington was The Lonely Hearts. Erin McKeown was the opener in Providence, Advance Base was the opener in Chicago, and Samantha Crain opened in Oklahoma City.
